Late Chairman Thapaliya passed away in 1988. He has always been the inspiration and spirit of the group, which is still guided by his principles of ethical business, sincerity, prosperity and high standards of products and services.

The captain of the ship, he is responsible for continuing and furthering the trend set by the late Chairman. A natural leader, he is not only involved in company activities but also in the general activities of organizations like FNCCI (Federation of Nepalese Chamber of Commerce and Industry), NGCCI (Nepal German Chamber of Commerce and Industry), and NADA (Nepal Automobile Dealer Association).
